About me
Hi there, I'm Emily
I'm a designer passionate about web design, user experience, design systems, information architecture, UX trends, typography, colour, and tiramisu. I graduated from Victoria University of Wellington with a BDes majoring in Industrial Design, followed by a GDip in Visual Communication Design from Massey University.
Currently, I'm working as a UX/UI Designer at the Ministry of Education in Wellington, NZ. My work experience has allowed me to dive deeper into web design and has given me the opportunity to work with some pretty cool people in the behind-the-scenes of web development.
I love problem-solving and creating great digital experiences. UX is an iterative, collaborative process and I appreciate learning new things every step of the way. In my work, I strive to design for the better from a user-centered approach.
Throughout my life, I have moved from city to city, but now I call Te Whanganui a Tara my home. The windy capital is a lovely little city for creatives who appreciate both the hills and the sea.
